My Story
Growing up in Western Pennsylvania on a small farm, I learned about occupational therapy from a close relative. After deciding that it seemed like an interesting career path, I chose a college in New York. Upon graduation, I provided Early Intervention services to inner-city children. The pull to be near my family was strong, and I returned to Pennsylvania. While working for several agencies as an independent contractor, I decided to start my own business and provided administrative and direct services for the next 12 years. After a recent merger with another company in Pennsylvania, I have maintained similar roles. I love Early Intervention! I love the kids and the families. I love the challenges and the success stories. I can't imagine myself doing anything else. I hope that my passion shows through in the courses that I have developed.
Why am I here?
With over 20 years of Early Intervention experience, most of which have been in Pennsylvania, I've come to realize that annual training opportunities are limited. After growing tired of taking very similar courses year after year, I decided that I wanted to offer something different to my friends and colleagues.
This website has been a labor of love, and a roller coaster of extreme highs and lows. I have done my very best to provide you with a seamless and easy experience, and hopefully some new information.
